Crude Jumped over +3% as Saudi Hinted to Support Price

Crude oil prices had a volatile day. The front-month WTI contract fell to 40.41 at one point but then rebounded to 42.75, before ending the day at 41.75, up +3.37%. The Brent contract initially slipped to 43.57 before settling at +44.83%, +0.38%. Prices plunged earlier in the day as China's imports of Iranian crude were reported to have dropped -0.1% y/y.
