HOUSTON----Seitel, Inc., a leading provider of seismic data to the oil and gas industry, today reported results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009. Revenue for the third quarter of $19.5 million decreased by $26.6 million or 58% as compared to the third quarter of 2008, primarily driven by a $21.0 million or 64% decline in total resales from our library.
