Advisor Services is the leading provider of custodial, operational
and trading support for independent, fee-based investment advisors.
We’re looking for individuals excited about helping advisors grow
successful businesses using sophisticated tools and wealth-management
services.

Brief Description of Role:

The Advisor Services Equity Trading Desk is a team of self-motivated
trading professionals who differentiates themselves by combining a
passion for service with an ability to instill confidence in our
executions. This position requires each individual to provide
value-added service to institutional clients, making proactive calls
with news, order flow, and intelligent market information, as well as
managing and coordinating order flow across multiple platforms.

In building relationships with our clients, Schwab AS Equity Trading
takes ownership of the entire trading process, beginning with
understanding macro- and microeconomic factors impacting the market,
establishing client objectives through active listening, clear
communication of special handling instructions, recommendations on
order handling where appropriate, timely trade reports, proactive
calls with market color and intelligence from the center of
execution, trade allocation, and post trade date follow-up.

Technical/Functional Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of the Equity
and Option markets and complex trading strategies. The candidate
must have the ability to cultivate relationships and multitask in a
dynamic environment that has a heightened risk profile associated
with large block order handling. They will have the technical
ability to navigate complex order management and market data systems
while providing world class service. They will have excellent verbal
and written communication skills, and must exemplify the vision and
values of Schwab.

The candidate must have five to seven years institutional
Equity/Option trading experience. Series 7, 63 brokerage licenses
are required.
