The Senior Managing Trader is responsible for the direction and supervision of the trading, scheduling and support functions for the acquisition of all natural gas requirements and capacity management for FGU’s member utility systems. • Responsible for trading energy commodities, options, heat rates, and energy products in various markets.
• Tenor of trade ranges from intraday through 5 years.
• High level of competency in trading strategies, physical market knowledge, regulatory market design, and competitive marketplace profile required.
• Must be able to bring a track record of profitable trading while abiding by and managing positions within [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]. P&L variance, and stop loss limits commensurate with the authorized position size.
• Ability and desire to perform individual research, deal entry management, and monthly reconciliation required. Position may require making markets for asset optimization groups that are responsible for hedging company’s nationwide generation portfolio.
• Knowledge of multiple trading transaction systems helpful. Willingness and desire to mentor/train less experienced traders expected.
• Must be a disciplined trader, highly organized, and a team player willing to work with individuals across all parts of a diversified regulated/competitive energy corporation.
