Fixed Income Settlement Analyst
This role will serve as the primary analysis and operations support to the Portfolio Manager in regards to all portfolios and accounts. This is an integral role in a two-person team that requires a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
· Manage all operations/administration of portfolios:
§ Trade settlement, allocations and confirmation.
§ Pricing of securities.
§ Client billing.
§ Maintain and organize all compliance-related information.
· Analysis and reporting§ Provide detailed risk management and portfolio holding reports.
§ Track ratings upgrades/downgrades, calls, tenders, etc.
§ Monitor various portfolio metrics including position sizing, industry classification, concentration, margin availability, etc.
§ Calculate performance of portfolios.
§ Provide investment ideas and research.Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills:· Must have a high level of skill in Excel.
· Experience with Bloomberg, Bloomberg Tradebook, Advent – preferred.
· Strong interest in finance/stock market and preferably an understanding of credit markets and financial statement analysis.
· Excellent communication skills for dealing with internal people, as well as external (clients, brokers).
· Attention to detail.Education, Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business field of study.
