BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. seeks Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income, Portfolio Management Group, in New York, NY to focus on investment grade fixed income corporate mandates. Actively research and evaluate macro-economic investment themes, and assess sector rotation and security selection opportunities for implementation across the portfolio base. Req’s: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field and 10 years of progressively responsible experience evaluating multi-product institutional fixed income portfolios on behalf of a global financial services institution. Prior experience must include: analyzing corporate credit, interest rates and other fixed income cash and derivatives instruments; utilizing research and portfolio construction techniques; and presenting investment opportunities to institutional clients. Five (5) years of experience must include: analyzing and constructing segregated and mutual funds in a risk optimized framework; and analyzing collateralized synthetic obligations, collateralized debt obligations, collateralized loan obligations, closed end funds and hedge fund allocations.
